Some aircrafts will carry oneworld logo after feb 2014. we ar joining oneworld in 2014 bcs we consider 13 is not a good number. 13th airline in 2013.. lol

According to Flightradar24, 4R-ALA is still flying - http://www.flightradar24.com/data/airplanes/4r-ala. Where did you get the information that 4R-ALA is on a serious paint job

Oneworld partners don't change the logo in the aircraft tail. I think they will paint like "member of ONEWORLD" on the front-side of the fuselage as shown below.

Guys, Guess which SriLankan's aircraft will get the ONEWORLD Livery? In my opinion, they should paint 4R-ABM, 4R-ALJ and 4R-ADF in ONEWORLD Livery. I recently flew on 4R-ALJ I found it's a better aircraft compared to other UL's A332s. 4R-ABM is the first brand-new A320 delivered after the launch of "SriLankan". 4R-ADF has the new config. May be they can take delivery of first A330-300 with ONEWORLD livery as well. What's your opinion?

personally i dnt like the lotus flower coz of few reasons
1) the old peacock had a meaning
2) lotus has become a much more political symbol now in SL so i guess as the national carrier it has to be something else than lotus

the logo of UL cannot change to a lotus becoz the UL new uniforms also has the peacock (monara) design. the reason MJ has a lotus is also becz its part of MR and the uniform of MJ has a lotus design.

this logo most probably if happening is either 1) oneworld logo or 2) MAYBE a special sort of a logo for the CHOGM happening. coz i remember QR had some of their a/c's painted in the asian games theme back in 2006 when Qatar was the host nation for the asian games.

ALA they had a change on tail panel due to bad landing at bia now almost work is done
