Could be more profitable to fly to European countries for the summer holiday period rather than to SL so they shift some of their flights for the summer. I would assume there's a greater demand for flights to Malaysia/SE Asia around this time (and then again around Xmas).

But MAS operates B737-800 to SL, so shifting their SL flights to Europe doesn't make it technically possible.

4R-ABR ferried to Zurich on 18/8/2014 for maintanance. Any idea if this aircraft will get new UL interiors prior delivery to SriLankan.
