        IndiGo has unveiled its latest route with direct flights from Mumbai to Colombo, commencing on April 12, 2024. Operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, this new service aims to improve the link.

            Indigo Airlines, a budget airline from India is tipped to operate direct flights between Chennai and Jaffna later this year.

            The Sri Lankan Airport Aviation Authority told the Daily News that Palaly airport is being upgraded and the runway is to be extended while other facilities will be given a facelift too. The Palali International Airport in Jaffna is already receiving direct flights from Air India and this would be the second international airline to operate in the homeland.​

                Indigo operated four-midnight flights from Bengaluru since the 11th using ATR 72-600.
                Now (12.30 am on the 15th) two ATR 72-600 s arrived same time from Bengaluru.

                Increased passenger count or some chartered flights?

                        No, 4R-EXS is coming back to CMB on 20th March evening as 8D004 from HYD, to operate these routes but EXR is going for maintenance to HYD, GMR aero, not sure whether the EXQ is ending its service with UL

                                                It went for lease return checks, and it was re-leased again to Fits instead of being returned back because it was a cheaper option or so.
