SriLankan Airlines Moves Beijing Service Resumption to 4Q25

SriLankan Airlines in recent schedule update filed changes to Colombo – Beijing Capital route. Initially scheduled to resume on 02JUL25 at earliest, the airline is now tentatively scheduled to resume this route on 27OCT25 at earliest.

Previously filed schedule for summer season as follows.

UL868 CMB1310 – 2305PEK 332 36
UL868 CMB1320 – 2315PEK 332 1
UL868 CMB1320 – 2315PEK 333 5

UL869 PEK0015 – 0515CMB 332 47
UL869 PEK0050 – 0550CMB 333 6
UL869 PEK0050 – 0550CMB 332 2

just saw that the 'new' A332 for UL might be 4R-ALV, in planespotters.net.
can someone confirm the validity of this?

Yes, We can Confirm, VP-BNX will be re-registered as 4R-ALV

Which routes Salam Air planning to use 4R-EXS?

No info on the routes Salam planned for 4R-EXS, definitely routes should not require ETOPS.
2 Aircrafts are enough for the current schedule and future RUH.

Still no official announcement about cancellation of SU flights to CMB. All i see no reservation available after 17-May. Believe SU having system issue. Will do further investigations what's happening with CMB flights. I won't be happy if European mainline carrier terminate CMB.

I also saw that in SU's site when I posted the former. might be sys error indeed.

4R-EXS ferried CMB-MCT on the 05-May for Acmi ops with Salamair

4R-EXR back from HYD to CMB on the 06-May after maintenance.

Centrum Air terminated CMB & HRI flights in Jan25 if I recall it correctly. Is it due to low passenger demand?

Looks like SU is affected cuz they are taking a longer route. It used to come and go through North India. but now looks like they are going around pakistan and using Iranian airspace. It must have added a bit more flying time to the route.
