            Got to know, Oldest A330 in the UL fleet, 4R-ALH was refurbished with new Business class last month after C Check.

            UL was planning to repaint all the A333 fleet. Has this been confirmed? I wonder repainting is a good idea for the aircraft due to be returned to lessors from next year? Notsure if leases for A333s have been extended? But i agree 4R-ALO badly needed repainting asap.​

                Both aircraft are parked in Tarbes in France 🇫🇷. By the looks the two A330-941Ns will be delivered between Nov25 and Mar26 as per below news. Hope agreement 🤝 go well for UL.


                In a recent interview with an Indian travel magazine, SriLankan Airlines’ Regional Manager for India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, Fawzan Fareid outlined the fleet expansion strategy. “We plan to add two narrow-body aircraft between April and June 2025, bringing the total to 13, followed by the addition of one wide-body aircraft between July and October 2025. Two more wide-body aircraft will be added between November 2025 and March 2026, expanding our fleet to 25 by the end of March 2026,” he said.

                            That explains why ALH was in maintenance for more than a month.
                            any pictures of the new interior of 4R-ALH?
                            ALO does need repainting as soon as things permit because most of the paint in upper part of its fuselage is cracked/speed taped.
                            --> what are the end-of lease dates for the A333/2s?

                                                But, most carriers are targetting the new improved A330-900 jets with increased MTOW, still Airbus didnot take the certification for the this variant. But hope this agreement goes well for UL, Cheers!!!!
