That's too bad this new addition to the fleet will have such an outdated J-class configuration (no direct aisle access from every seat) and no in-seat IFE. The seat upholstery looks really bland as well.

Hi Haleef,
Good to see first hand SriLankan images from you again! Thanks for sharing.
A few sneak peeks from UL's latest 332. Images of the J class equipped with new 60W USB-C in-seat power system.
More info here: WeSky installs 60W USB-C in-seat power system on SriLankan Airlines’ A330-200 aircraft
All images are the courtesy of Vytis Petrusevicius.

First, Thank you so much for sharing those images!
Business Class looks much outdated,, and also colours are not aligning with UL colour scheme (Not even like the business class of 4R-ALS, it is better than this) Dissapointed about the business class configuration, Hope UL will not use this aircraft for long haul flights spcecially for MEL, SYD, LHR, FRA, CDG.
Appreciate if we can get the images of Economy class of this aircraft.
But However, Something is better than Nothing, But Something UL have must use in the best scenario!Comment

Yes, that is because now 4R-ALT is now MSN1261 as per the above update I shared earlier, we can also conclude that MSN1261 has been successfully reregistered as 4R-ALT, as we can see that the airport is at CHR, probably running some engine ground tests.
MSN1060 isnt coming to Sri lankan as per discussions on the forum.Comment

The underwing registration can be seen in the first attachment, '4R-AL.....'. She should be 4R-ALT soon. Also FR24 is giving the wrong info. Will try to amend it when it comes online again the next time. Attached a few more images of VP-BNX at CHR back when it was in the hangar for painting and one outside. I'm thinking the paintwork was done by Vallair MRO.

Hi, no problem! True, agreed. Could have had a standard color code to match the other aircraft.
It goes to the Y class as well, similar like UL has on 4R-ABS..Comment

yeah, I know that. MSN 1060 is going to C6 as I posted earlier as UK33032. I was just telling that the fr24 data is different.

edit: it's already painted in C6 colors now.
that's something I didn't know of. did UL inherit it from RB in that case or not?,
does 4R-ABT also have it?
looks like though the 3rd letter isn't there yet because then it would not be entirely covered by the hat in the right.

but then though, I'm not entirely sure about that.
but as Bixtay already said, it might as well be 4R-ALT because its modeS transmitted that.
anyways, thanks for the information!

Will MSN1060 be used as a cargo aircraft? Since C6 primarily uses their fleet for cargo transport with their 767s.Comment
