Good news if it's true. But Dailynews is not a good source, in my opinion.

but its a very good move by UL, and i remember the UL first 3 A333 delivery dates were oct - 2014, dec 2014 and feb 2015, so i assume UL gonna place the a333 to mel, and this info might be correct...Comment

European flights are frequently flown at Maximum Take-off Weight. They are also flown on a re-dispatch flightplan (maximum payload/minimum fuel). Eastbound flights are often too heavy to re-dispatch. It is not unusual to reach Maximum Landing Weight just prior to starting descent.
European destinations are premium routes. Example Singapore Airlines are running 4 daily flights into London Heathrow - 3 have been upgraded to A380 and the 4th is a 777. All Emirates flights into London Heathrow are now A380 - and those flights are full. I've flown London Heathrow - Dubai quite a bit in the last few months. Only about 20% of the passengers get off in Dubai.
UL has reduced frequencies and downgraded capacity and can't make money on European routes. They have also lost cargo contracts including at least one that was profitable.
There is something very wrong with the UL business model if they can't make money with full aircraft.Always fly a stable approach - it's the only stability you'll find this businessComment
