Leahy: A322 Not Needed, "We Own This (MOM) Market"
True, but I am disappointed that we won't see what the next iteration in the A320 family will look like any time soon.“Our A321 is our “Middle of the Market” aircraft, and at up to 240 seats, it is doing a fantastic job,” continued Leahy. He saw no reason to extend the aircraft to an A322. “At 240 seats, all 18 inches wide, I see no reason to change things,” Leahy said. “At 80% market share, we own this market.”
Seems Airbus is willing and able to rest on their laurels and take profits. Good on them!Leave a comment:

Iran Air first A321 (EP-IFA) already been delivered to Tehran? When was it?Leave a comment:

I remember Iran Air was flying one B747SP for passenger flights to KUL & PEK and one B742F for cargo services. It seems to be both their B747s have been stored once they signed contract to get new fleet. But they are still operating the ageing A300s and A310s.
Any sign of their new fleet? Have Iran air took delivery of brand new A321, A332, ATR72 ?

Heart Breaking site !! SL Politics is ruining the potential of our national carrier "SriLankan Airlines" !!‘Ghost’ Airbus A350 sighting unnerves aviation industry
http://www.thenational.ae/business/a...ation-industry
SriLankan Airlines shouldn't have ordered the A350 in the first place. The A330 is the best widebody for SriLankan's long-haul flights.
Any idea who is going to take this plane?Leave a comment:
