    Thanks! Sorry I didn't check the full status of 4R-ANC before that comment. I see 4R-ANC did returned back to CMB on the 07-Jan. If I am not mistaken, DMM pax were transported on 4R-ANB operated as UL253.

    It didn't go to DMM. It returned back to base due to having smoke in the cabin. Sticker work was carried out at the 320 hangar in Colombo, livery will be officially revealed today as I heard.

    I'm glad to hear pilots are okay. According to CAASL, aircraft is going to be retrieved and transported to CMB for further investigations.

    Any idea if 4R-CAE will be repaired and returned to revenue service?

    4R-CAE Cessna 208 Amphibious Aircraft operated by Cinnamon Air (Saffron Aviation) has plunged into the Gregory Lake, Nuwaraeliya when it was trying to land at Gregory Lake today (07 Jan 2026), No pax were on-board, all crew were rescued safely.
    As per media, videos and pictures, no major visible structural damages on the aircraft but only both wing tips has and nose, propellor and Engine plunged into the water.

    4R-ABL & 4R-ALS have been returned to revenue service. ABL on the 03-Jan-2026 and ALS on the 01-Jan-2026. 4R-ANE still grounded.
