I believe UL & 8D should take advantage of the grounded flights by EK, QR & EY. Sri Lanka have big market to focus in India and China.
Agree, according to UAE Market intelligence, Customers trust 8D over all other carriers including EK and UL, which is a great opportunity to expand and catch the own market share which UL has also.
Still the issue is coming from resources : Aircrafts, UL is struggling with fleet shortage to launch new routes or increase frequencies.

And also, FlyDubai will be operating two additional flights from DXB to CMB (FZ8571), deploying 7M8.

Noticed that Thai Airways has reduced daily flights from BKK to 5 weekly (Skipping Mondays and Saturdays), starting March 9th.

    Thanks.
Is there a decline in pax traffic in BKK-CMB sector?

And yes , I’ve seen a post that UL will fly to Rome on the 9th march.
If I am correct, UL1505/6 used for repatriation flight to/from LHR and UL1583/4 to/from FCO during Covid times?
