Flights are not open for sales to LHE, will be opening soon. Flights are about to start from
20JAN twice a week, D2 D6,given timings are correct. Kochi is listed for a operational reason, no any plans on COK in near future. Yes, KUL will be reduced to thrice weekly. But DEL and AMD are in the pipe.

    Hi Guys,

4R-ANC back in service since yesterday [13-Jan] operated CMB-KWI flights if I am not mistaken. Any photos with new sticker?

4R-AND is not in service since 11-Jan. Is it also getting special livery?

Any idea when 4R-ANE will return to service?

I wonder when 4R-ABS will get SriLankan livery? if i am not mistaken it's still in all white.

Fitsair certified by Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka as an approved training organization (ATO) to Airbus A320 pilot type training.

ECONOMYNEXT – FitsAir, a Colombo-based airline said it was certified by Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka as an approved training organization (ATO) to Airbus A320 pilot type training.

“Under this approval, FitsAir is authorised to conduct Cadet Pilot and Junior First Officer initial training, A320 aircraft conversion and re-qualification for both current and non-current pilots, A330/A320 cross crew qualification…” the airline said in a statement.

Training will be conducted using Civil Aviation Authority approved Airbus A320 Flight Simulation Training Devices.

“By bringing Airbus A320 type training in-house, we enhance training quality, improve flexibility, and build a stronger pipeline of skilled pilots for both FitsAir and the wider aviation industry..” Ammar Kassim, Executive Director, FitsAir said in a statement.

The certification allows FitsAir greater control, efficiency, and consistency in pilot training while reducing reliance on overseas training facilities and also support the long-term growth of aviation expertise in Sri Lanka, the airline said.

FitsAir is Sri Lanka’s first privately-owned airline operating to destinations inn South Asia and the Middle East. (Colombo/Jan12/2026)
